Writing songs from Scripture for congregational use is not all that easy. It needs to combine a faithful understanding of the Bible with interesting lyrical forms, and then integrate these lyrics with a singable, melodic tune which fits the topic's mood and metre. The Perfect View songs are intended to be an encouragement to other Christians (proven songwriters or otherwise) to undertake Biblical song writing themselves.
