Issue of the week

Obviously the ISIS terrorist attacks in Beirut and Paris were what we’ve been talking about. We’ve probably all read dozens of articles and Facebook opinions. I could share many. But in my opinion, the best of them may well have been Mike Paget’s challenge to Christians to think harder and more distinctively about the idea of what it means to stand with Paris.

On the third anniversary of us missing much loved evangelist and Matthias Media author John Chapman, my thanks to David Mansfield for this 'vintage Chappo' story I had not heard before.

Interesting: one history professor (Nathan Finn) reviews another church historian’s (John D Wilsey) book critiquing the false gospel of American exceptionalism. Not Australia’s problem, but interesting to understand the Christianity often seen from such a good friend to Australia.
